Men’s Basketball Loses 4th Straight Game to Hanover

Earlham College Men’s Basketball lost their 4th straight game to
Hanover College 63-45 on Wednesday, February 6th. Earlham was led by
Qawi Rucker with 15 points and was a presence on defense with 4 blocks.
Hanover had four players score in double figures; Cam Fails led them with 16
points and Hanover led 38-17 at halftime. Earlham only shot 30% from the
field and 17% from 3-point range whereas Hanover shot 38% from the field

and 17% from 3-point range. Earlham had 18 turnovers and Hanover capi-
talized with 19 points off Earlham’s turnovers. Earlham falls to 6-16 on the

season and 5-10 in the HCAC. Earlham is tied for 8th place in the HCAC.
The conference tournament playoff selects the top 6 teams. Manchester and
Franklin are tied for the 6th spot and Earlham is trailing one game behind
them for the 6th spot with only 3 games remaining in the season. Earlham
will play Rose-Hulman College at home on Saturday, February 9th at 4pm.
